Rising Star Africa Promotions will promote Isaac Dogboe's fight against Mexico’s Cesar Juarez on January 6th for the WBO interim world super bantamweight title at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra.

Rising Star Africa Promotions earned the bid and promotional right for Isaac Dogboe to stage the fight in Ghana with an amount of $117,000.

Briefing the media in Accra at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, Director at Rising Star Africa Promotions, Dr. D.S Akomelo, said its a dream come true to stage a world title fight in Ghana.

He stressed that it is very expensive to put up this fight hence calling on Corporate Ghana to come on board to help stage the fight.

The man who will be entering the four squared circle on the aforementioned date, Isaac Dogboe indicated that he is ever ready to take on the Mexican.

“I’m ready for Cesar Juarez; I have always been ready since day one. Juarez is a tough customer, he will bring out the best in me but I will take him down.

“Training has been good and I will not let Ghanaians down. I will do everything possible to defend Ghana’s flag.”

Father and trainer of Isaac, Paul Dogboe also added his voice saying that his son technically better than Juarez.

The Sports Ministry PRO Elvis Adjei-Baah who represented the ministry said the government is solidly behind Isaac and they will make sure the world title stays in Ghana.
