Enchi, (W/R) Jan.5, GNA - F/C Roma, a Second Division team at Enchi spanked visiting Akenten Stars of Kumasi 3-1 in a friendly match at Enchi.
Both sides put up brilliant performance after kick-off but it was the home side who shot into the lead in the 35th minute when their head striker, Isaac Asare meandered his way through the defence to score the first goal.
Determined to avoid a defeat, Akenten Stars pressed for the equaliser but were kept in check through good goal keeping by Clement Cisse of Roma.
Roma capitalised on defensive blunder by the visitors in their goal area for Asare to score his side's second goal in the 55th minute. Jacus Cantona of F/C Roma scored the third goal for his side in the 76th minute to seal the doom of Akenten Stars just as the match was getting more exciting.
Nana Fatao managed to score a consolation goal for Akenten Stars in the 80th minute.
