Head coach of Ghana’s Rugby team, Lovemore Kuzerera has warned his charges against complacency following their emphatic 46-5 win over Benin at the Accra Sports stadium.
Ghana showed strength, power and finesse to finish off Benin but the Zimbabwean trainer is not getting carried away by his side’s display this afternoon.
According to him, the team is yet to reach the level he desires hence will not be overly excited. He maintained that he spotted a few mistakes in the Black Eagles’ display that he believes needs urgent attention before the game against Togo.
“I’m not really impressed because every coach is difficult to impress. We still got a lot of work to do and we are going to work on that before the next game against Togo".
"I saw a few things that deserve urgent attention and I can assure you that those things will be fixed before next Sunday”. Lovemore told the press after the game.
Ghana as the host nation will be hoping to emerge victors in tournament as they seek to qualify to the next stage of Rugby Africa Challenge.
Togo is Ghana’s next opponent but will have to navigate the wounded Beninois before facing the Eagles next Sunday.
