As the Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the Ghana Football Association steps aside for investigations into allegations of bribery involving his club to be conducted, key suspect, Nii Lokko has revealed that Bofoakwa Tano officials paid Ghc3000 to the match officials which enabled them win the game by 2-0 at Goaso.

According to Nii Lokko, he was irritated by the actions of the match officials which induced his reaction as he claims to have seen officials of the visitors dashing out Ghc3000 to the center men to tilt the game in their favour.

Nii Lokko claims to have given some money to the match officials only to ‘mitigate’ their cost of transportation and upon hearing that the officials had taken monies from their opponents after the game, he got enraged and demanded a refund of his money.

“Masa, I gave them their t&t when they came. Then after the game, somebody told me Bofo gave them Ghc3000 so I told them to give me my money and they said I have beaten the referee.

Nii Lokko has since been invited by the Ethics Committee of the GFA for questioning.
