Accra, Jan. 13, GNA - SOS Networx, management and marketing consultants of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting club on Thursday, made a presentation of 33 Nokia (3220) camera mobile phones to the playing body and officials of the club for winning the novelty Confederation Cup trophy.

The donation was made by the officials of the Networx at the secretariat of the club, which was attended by the players, officials and the members of the Board of Directors.

Mr Isaac Yeboah who made the presentation on behalf of Mr Herbert Mensah, Chief Executive Officer of SOS Networx said the company is proud to be associated with Hearts and to have been able to join the journey to the historic feat in the confederation Cup competition.

He said the management of Hearts has displayed vision and leadership ever since they entered into agreement in February last year, and that the company's gesture is not just about given out phones but a message to the club and its stakeholders that life is about communications. The SOS representative urged the club to focus their thoughts and communication on the bigger challenges ahead to win the Super Cup in Nigeria.

"It will require vision, focus, dedication and above all communication to achieve that target in the match". Mr Yeboah stated. Mr Ato Ahwoi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the club received the phones on behalf of the club and described it as a surprise gesture but expressed management's gratitude to the company.

The Board Chairman stated that the success of the club in the Confederation Cup competition has placed more responsibilities on the shoulders of the marketing company.

Mr Ahwoi said, "it is now your responsibility to market the club well by looking for more sponsors for us".

He paid glowing tribute to SOS Networx for bringing down Coach Ernst Middendorp who laid a solid foundation for the team that was complimented by Sir Cecil Jones Attuquayefio that resulted in the annexation of the trophy.

Mr Ahwoi called on all stakeholders to join hands together to ensure that the club gains higher laurels to be one of the great clubs in Africa.

SOS Networx is on record to have secured a sponsorship deal from a tomato paste company La Bianca for Hearts.
