The Sports Callers Association of Ghana have issued a statement soliciting for support in aid of famous Kumasi-based Hearts of Oak supporter, Shamo Quaye.
In the statement signed by the President of the Association Nkoo Joseph, the group is calling on well-wishers especially the football family to come to the aid of the supporter who is currently on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
Below is the statement:
The Sports Callers Association of Ghana have heard with much empathy that one of the supporters of Accra Hearts Of Oak in Kumasi , Shamo Quaye is in a critical condition battling for his dear life.
Information from his immediate family indicates that , he needs GHC 3,500 only to undergo an operation to save his life but has not been able to afford it yet.
We, the Sports Callers Association of Ghana are therefore calling on the Management of Accra Hearts of Oak and all sports loving fans to treat this as a matter of urgency and go to his aid.
