Accra, June 15, GNA - The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has congratulated Mr Ray Quarcoo, a Patron of the Association on his appointment as a Goodwill Ambassador by President John Evans Atta Mills.
A statement signed by Ackah Anthony, President of SWAG said, 93on behalf of the Council of Patrons and members of SWAG, congratulate you on your new appointment to such a high office of the country.
"It is a well deserved honour on account of your immense sacrifice to the development of Ghana sports through the years and we are convinced this honour will spur you on to continue with the sacrificial job you are doing for Ghana sports". It stated.
According to Anthony, the Association believes that 93you have what it takes to contribute your quota to taking Ghana sports to a new level, especially in terms of sponsorship and the provision of equipment".
It said the Association is pleased to be associated with Mr Quarcoo and hope to draw more inspiration from his rich experience.
