Team Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak, Sabbah Quaye has stated that the destiny of the Phobians in terms of beating the relegation drop is in their own hands; he is optimistic of his side’s win on Sunday.
Hearts of Oak will host Asante Kotoko on match day 25 of the ongoing First Capital Plus Bank Premier League on Sunday at the Accra sports stadium. A win for the Phobians will boost their position on the log sheet but a loss will definitely worsen their current status as they sit at the 14th position.
A game that will not come easy for the Accra giants as they have to dig deep before picking the three maximum points at stake because their fieriest Asante Kotoko have not also had a fruitful season. A loss for them will drop them to the relegation zone.
But the Team Manager of the Phobians ahead of the Super clash on Sunday has stated that, their destiny in terms of escaping relegation is in their own hands; which largely depends on the game against Kotoko.
“Our destiny is in our own hands. We cannot draw on Sunday. We are going to beat Kotoko on Sunday. The fans know we have the character in matches of this kind and so the fans should come to the stadium.
“We have taken pressure to ourselves by being at the position where we are, I can really say a divided house can’t stand but take it from me we will escape relegation,” Sabbah Quaye said in a pre match conference.
The kickoff time for Sunday’s Super clash is 3:30pm [15:30].
