Midfielder, Elvis Opoku says Aduana Stars’ decision to replace Yusif Abubakar with Japanase-American trainer Kenichi Yatshuhashi made no sense.

Elvis has, on Friday, made some really damning allegations against the club he currently has two years contract with.

Coach Yusif was sacked after two games into the CAF Confederation Cup competition losing to ASEC by 1-0 away and drawing 3-3 against Raja Casablanca in Dormaa.

The defensive midfielder has questioned the decision of the management of the Ghanaian champions to sack premier league winner Abubakar.

“What was the point in the sacking of Yusif.” Elvis quizzed speaking to Nhyira FM.

“I saw no sense in it” he stated.

“Look at what Kenichi come to do. He just woke up to give the captaincy to Yahaya Mohammed without any consultations whatsoever.”

“I and Joseph Addo protested but the other players didn’t support us. The management also did nothing against his (Kenichi) decision.” A frustrated Elvis revealed.
