Asante Kotoko forward, Saddick Adams, has dedicated his late equalizing goal against Hearts of Oak to the late equipment officer of the club Thomas Asare.
Asare died three weeks ago when Kotoko team involved in an accident at Nkawkaw road when they were on their way to their base after a league game against Inter Allies in Accra.
In last Sunday’s super clash, Kotoko conceded the first goal through Kwame Kizito’s fine finish in the 60th minute.
Kotoko then pushed for the equalizer and they pulled even courtesy Adams’ spot kick in the 80th minute. Late in the game, Adams came close to scoring his brace but he fluffed his line.
However, on Monday, the former Berekum Chelsea goal poacher took to his official Facebook page and posted:
“Yesterday was the day to fulfil the two goals I promise you after our game against inter Allies, but Allah knows best.I knew what I wanted to do, I knew what I planned but it didn’t happen the way mankind wanted it, but it happens the way Allah wants it R.I.P MR ASARE.”
