Saddick Adams spotted at Accra Sports Stadium

In-form Berekum Chelsea captain Saddick Adams was spotted at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday when the Black Stars started preparations for their 2017 AFCON qualifier, fueling speculations he has earned a late call-up.

But GHANASoccernet.com understands the 2007 FIFA U17 World Cup star was in Accra to attend the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana launch of a retired football fund and insurance scheme.

Adams has been tipped to replace David Accam who has withdrawn from the squad due to an ankle injury.

But the Black Stars technical team is yet to confirm who will be replacing the Chicago Fire striker.

Adams has scored three goals in four league matches for the Berekum-based side in the Ghana Premier League.
