Salou arrives in Romania

Ghanaian striker Ibrahim Salou has finally arrived in Romania to sign a six-month deal with Rapid Bucharest.

Salou's Moroccan wife was reluctant for the striker to play for Rapid because of the recent poor treatment meted out to black players in the country.


Naiimah finally agreed to the move after firm assurances from club officials of the Romanian side.


The forward has now secured the six month loan from Belgian side Club Brugge.


Salou is moving to Romania atfer struggling at Club Brugge.

He has not started a match for Club Brugge this season but has come on 15 minutes as a substitute.


He is also yet to score.


Salou turned down an opportunity to play for the Ghana national team at the Africa Cup of Nations.
