Former Asante Kotoko right back Samuel Frimpong has hit the ground running for Karela United putting up a great performance against Legon Cities on Friday.
The former Bekwai Youth Academy player lasted the entire duration of the game as Karela United returned to winning ways by beating Legon Cities by 3-0 at Tarkwa Akoon Park.
A brace by Diwisie Taylor and a strike from Samuel Ofori stunned the mega rich club in the match day seven of the Ghana Premier League.
“It’s a dream come true, I have been waiting for this opportunity since joining the club on the transfer deadline day. And I’m elated we won massively.
“Thanks for the team for the magnificent showing. The unique passion for their unprofound support at the Akoon park. I’m proud to be passioner”
That win was Karela United second win in the league after seven round of games.
