Ghana attacker Samuel Tetteh registered his maiden goal in the Austrian second-tier league after scoring in Liefering's 4-1 win over Neustadt on Friday evening.

Tetteh, 20, sealed the win for Liefering with an 83rd-minute free-kick after Serbian teenager Mergim Berisha had scored a hat-trick to steer Liefering to a cruising victory.

While Tetteh was scoring his first goal of the season, Ghana youth goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi manned the post for while former West African Football Academy defender Gideon Mensah played as left back.

Tetteh joined Red Bull Salzburg from Ghanaian top-flight side West African Football Academy during the summer transfer window.

However, the attacker, who netted five (5) Ghana Premier League goals before leaving the local scene, was asked to join the club's youth side to familiarise himself the Austrian league and get enough first team action.

Meanwhile, his Ghanaian compatriot Mensah was signed weeks after he had joined the side.
