Sanford World Clinic Women's FA Cup: Police Ladies bag GH¢ 10,000 for winning title

Police Ladies were GH¢ 10,000 richer for winning the maiden edition of the Women’s FA Cup which was sponsored by Sanford World Clinic.

Faiza Ibrahim's brace gave Police Ladies a 2-1 win over Fabulous Ladies on Saturday afternoon at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Deborah Afriyie of Police Ladies was adjudged the overall best player of the competition whilst Agnes Duako's eight goals were enough for her to be named top scorer of the competition.

In league, Ampem Darkoaa Ladies beat Hasaacas 1-0 at the same venue to be crowned champions.
