Sarfo Gyamfi predicts doom for Kuffour led board

Sarfo Gyamfi, popularly known in football cycles as the ‘Black president’, a former player of Asante Kotoko says, he has never seen any board succeed at the Kumasi out.

Samuel Osei Kuffour was on last week Saturday informed by the powers that be at the Manhyia palace to form his own board and management.

However, Sarfo Gyamfi is pessimistic another board for Asante Kotoko could turn the fortunes of the club.

“I have never seen any board succeed at Kotoko. There are some people although they have money, they don’t invest in football,” he told Happy FM.

He added that he will open his doors to any assistance that Kuffour would need from him.

“I always serve Kotoko and Opoku Nti will tell you that, I was always available to offer my service to the club any time he called on me.

“I am ready to assist Osei Kuffour any day he needs my assistance,” he added.

Kuffour is yet to be unveiled as the executive chairman to replace Paul Adu Gyamfi led board and the Opoku Nti led management team.
