Schlupp is second fastest player in EPL

Ghana defender Jeffrey Schlupp has been clocked as the second fastest player in the English Premier League this season.

EA Sports' Player Performance Index shows the Leicester City player has a top speed of 21.9 miles per hour.

He is behind his team-mate Jamie Vardy and Manchester United striker Anthony Martial who have been clocked as the joint fastest players.

They recorded a speed of 22 miles per hour over five seconds with Vardy setting the pace in August in Leicester's 2-1 win at West Ham.
