Schlupp celebrates after scoring
Ghanaian duo Jeffrey Schlupp and Jordan Ayew were in scintillating form for Crystal Palace as they defeated West Ham United in pre-season.
Having scored in the matches against Crawley Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers in their previous matches, Ayew and Schlupp combined to give the Eagles a second goal in the 3-1 victory over the Hammers.
Tyrick Mitchell opened the scoring for Palace after just a minute, but Michail Antonio levelled for West Ham twenty minutes later.
Ayew set up Schlupp for the second after his teasing cross into the box was met by his compatriot, who headed past the West Ham goalie.
Three minutes later, Odsonne Edouard put the game beyond their London rivals as Crystal Palace ended their US tour with success.
The South London club will return to England for their last pre-season encounter against French outfit FC Nantes before the 2024/25 Premier League campaign begins.
Meanwhile, Ayew remains a subject of interest for Premier League returnees Leicester City.
