Second Division league to kick off on August 29

Cape Coast, Aug.12, GNA - The Central Regional Second Division football league will commence on Sunday, August 29.

Mr Mathew Doe, Chairman of the Central Region Football Association told the GNA Sports on Wednesday that only 24 out of 36 clubs have so far registered for the league as at the close of registration. He said a meeting would be held next Thursday to draw the main fixtures for the league.

Among the clubs which have registered, are Cape Coast Bless FC, Elmina Coconut Groove Sharks, Mankessim Mir Academy, Twifo Praso Akumpreko and Moree Great Astons.
