Second Division match ends abruptly at Senya Bereku

Senya Bereku, (C/R) March 8, GNA - The Second Division league match between Senya Bereku Soccer Professionals and Gomoa Fetteh Young Stars played at Senya Bereku on Sunday ended abruptly in the 71st minute. At the time of the incident, the scores stood at 1-1. The incident started when referee Ebenezer Andoh in the 71st minute cautioned Archison Baidoo of Soccer Professionals with a yellow card for persistent infringements.

The referee's decision made the irate home supporters to invade the field and this brought play to a standstill and the visiting team who were not satisfied with the unruly behaviour of the homesters also engaged them in a free for all fight.

Results of other league matches were Cape Coast Liberty Rainbow drew 0-0 with Oguaa United, Assin North United drew 3-3 against Cape Coast Great Astronomers, Denkyira Great Wonders drew 0-0 with Elmina Coconut Grove Sharks, Great Breman United drew two all with Abura Dunkwa Galaxy F/C.

Mankessim Mir F/C beat Biriwa Academy 1-0, Nyanyano Proud United spanked Kasoa Fauzan 5-0, Nyanyano Super Sports drew 0-0 with Buduburam F/C, Buduburam Bendu Enforces drew 1-1 with Kasoa Bagojet whilst Kasoa 24-Seven F/C also drew goalless with Nyanyano Real Madrid.
