Accra, Oct 12, GNA - The ceremony to induct the second batch of inductees into the National Hall of Fame scheduled for Wednesday, at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Youth and Sports has been postponed indefinitely.

A source from the Public Relations outfit of the National Sports Council who broke the news of the postponement to the GNA Sports did not assign any reasons for the indefinite deferment.

The ceremony was to induct sports heroes including Edward Acquah, Mike Ahey and D.K Poison.

Others who were to be inducted posthumously are - Baba Yara, Salisu Mohammed and Gabriel Sowah Laryea.

The postponement would further raise eyebrows following the controversy generated after the first induction ceremony held on September 29 when the names of the likes of Ohene Djan, Richard Akwei and Mike Ahey were inadvertently left out from the list of inductees.
