Accra, June 12, GNA - The Accra Regional Police Command on Friday said it has put in place adequate security measures at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Accra for Sunday's Premier League match between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Chief Inspector Kwaku Dompreh of the Public Affairs Unit of the Regional Command in a statement copied to GNA Sports explained that adequate security personnel would be deployed to provide maximum security before, during and after the match.

The statement warned that the Police would not tolerate any act of hooliganism at the stadium during the match.

It said "The Command wishes to remind the public that any person or group of persons who will want to take the laws into their hands and misbehave at the stadium will be arrested and dealt with according to the laws of the land".

The statement therefore advised fans and supporters of the two clubs to comport themselves before, during and after the match. It added that "We wish to advise the supporters of the two clubs to educate their members to behave themselves at the stadium. "We therefore want maximum cooperation from the fans and supporters to ensure that together we can have a successful match," the statement added. 12 June 09
