Ghanaian midfielder Shadrach Eghan wants to hit the ground running at Norwegian side Stabaek.

Eghan has joined the Norwegian side after leaving FC Twente.

The diminutive playmaker was refused a contract extension and hopes to start making an impact at his new club.

“I am very happy to be here. Stabæk is a very good team and a good club. The people here are good, it gives me a good feeling and am very happy to be here.” Eghan told the club’s official website.

“Football is a universal language – one can easily read the game and adjust to it. That’s what I should do. I am well trained, have played a few games with the reserve team of Twente and played 90 minutes in each game.”
