Ghanaian-born American striker Silas Twumasi is determined to help South Bronx United to win the Junior MLS title this season as well as earn a Black Satellites call-up.
The 18-year-old striker has been the best player in the junior MLS over the previous seasons winning the goalking award thrice in succession.
“I am looking forward to another great season, my target is to help my team win the title and also win the top scorer award again,” Twumasi told Goal Ghana.
“I want to play for the Ghana Under-20 and I hope the coaches will start monitoring some of us here.”
The rising talent was born in Ghana but moved to America with his parents whilst still a child. He has been courted and trained with New York Red Bulls twice and hopes to play for Liverpool in the future.
