Solomon Otoo ‘Mangola’ wins International Boxing Matchmaker award

Ghana’s Solomon Otoo Lartey also known as ‘Mangola’ has been named as the British & Irish Boxing Authority (BIBA) International Matchmaker of the year in their 2017 Year End Awards.

The Bukom born matchmaker beats off competition from hosts of matchmakers to win the award.

A citation from BIBA reads:

“The first of the British & Irish Boxing Authority (BIBA) 2017 Year End awards is for INTERNATIONAL MATCHMAKEkR OF THE YEAR and is awarded to Solomon Otoo.”

2017 year under review, Otoo was behind two solid fights, Tackie Annan vs Nathan Beatie (Annan won TKO in round 2) and Bukom Banku vs Bastie Samir (Samir won via KO in round 7).
