Former Asante Kotoko striker Daniel Nii Adjei has denied reports of him attacking the Ghanaian media for carrying on with their sports shows amid the Coronavirus pandemic which has halted sporting activities globally.
A post on the Facebook page of Nii Adjei stated; "Even players and coaches are home talking about the virus and how to protect you and you sit on radio to talk about sports."
"In Europe that they (journalists) are recognized mpo, they don't talk about sports anymore."
But in a sharp response, Nii Adjei has denied posting anything on Facebook. According to him, he suspects someone hacked his account and did it.
"It’s not true. I didn’t write anything of the sort on my page. I’m suspecting someone hacked my account. I will never write that," he told Ashh FM in Kumasi.
The 30-year-old won the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup titles during his stint with T.P Mazembe.
He also won three Ghana Premier League championships and two Super Cup titles with Asante Kotoko.
