Accra, May 31, GNA - Ratomir Djukovic, Head Coach of Ghana's Black Stars has tagged the team's World Cup warm-up game against South Korea, fixed for Edinburgh on Sunday June 4 as the 'real deal'.

The Stars play the Koreans, fellow World Cup campaigners in a last preparatory game ahead of the Germany competition in a game the Serbian acknowledges would provide the ultimate test for the Ghanaians making a Mundial debut.

He told GNA Sports in Leicester that 'I am convinced the Koreans will provide us the right challenge and a tip on what to expect in Germany'.

Ghana, polled alongside Italy, Czech Republic and the United States of America (USA) begin their campaign against the Italians in Hanover on June 12.

Coach Djukovic believed the Koreans, semi finalists in the last competition they co-hosted with Japan have what it takes to bring out the best in the Stars ahead of the tourney that spans a month.

The team, within a week played Turkey and Jamaica in duels resulting in a one all draw and 4-1 win respectively. Djukovic told GNA Sports his team would be hoping to build on Monday's 4-1 drubbing of the Jamaicans in the game against the Asians in their quest to soar their morale and round up preparation for the tourney.
'The team is getting better by the day and we hope to fight on Monday for another good result that will keep our confidence level high'.
He expressed the hope that the team could thrive high on their amazing team spirit, commitment and common purpose to duty. "The players are always showing great signs of commitment and togetherness that am sure will take us to any level if maintained." He said the team is fast establishing solution to all problem areas, adding, "we are consistently working on every area that will ensure we present a formidable squad in Germany".
But the Stars' trump card in Germany, he reckons remain their common purpose to duty and zeal to work as a team.
