Sports Council releases results of coaching course

Accra, Jan 24, GNA - Thirty-two out of the 44 participants who took part in a five day coaching course recently passed in all the four subjects with one person referred in two papers.

The National Sports Council (NSC) released the results of the recently held Preliminary Football Coaching Qualifying Course for local coaches on Tuesday.

The course was held at the Ohene Djan Sports stadium in Accra between 19-24 December last year and conducted by Mr Ben Koufie, a FIFA instructor and a former Chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA). A state ment signed by Hamah Hamid Issakah, Public Relations Officer of the NSC copied to the GNA Sports said the course took the participants though practical performance, practical coaching, theory of coaching methods and the theory of the Laws of the game. The statement urged the participants to contact the Public Relations Unit at the stadium for details of their results.
