Sports Minister congratulates Leicester City trio for EPL title triumph

Ghana's Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Nii Lante Vanderpuye has congratulated Black Stars trio Jeffery Schlupp, Daniel Amartey and Joe Dodoo for winning the English Premier League for the first time with Leicester City.

The lowly fancied side rose above expectations to beat competition from Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City to lift the EPL title for the first time in 132 years.

And the Sports Minister has congratulated the Ghanaians for contributing to the historical success story of Leicester City.

"Let me take this opportunity to congratulate Jeffery Schlupp, Daniel Amartey and Joe Dodoo for winning the EPL.

"It was an excellent performance from all of you this season and I must say I am proud.

"It is my prayer that next season you all do well to better the good you did this season," Nii Lante told the payer after training on Wednesday.
