Isaac Kwame Asiamah inspecting the Ho Youth Resource Centre of Excellence
Youth and Sports Minister Isaac Kwame Asiamah on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, inspected the Ho Youth Resource Centre of Excellence. Joined by other officials at the Ministry and the National Youth Authority (NYA), the facility tour was to assess the extent of progress work on the site.
Contractor of the project Togbe Gbewozah of Wilkado Construction gave the assurance that the project would be completed as scheduled (February 2019) saying, " We foresee meeting the deadline, we are 70% through, the 30 % is the field and few other aspects."
The Sports Minister expressed gross satisfaction about the work so far. "I am highly impressed with what l have seen so far, it goes to show that government didn't give a vain promise, this is replicated across the country, thanks to President Akufo-Addo, and it’s the first of its kind. It will certainly help the youth of this country."
The facility will house a FIFA standard football field, basketball Court, counseling centre, ICT Centre, restaurant among other facilities.
