Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has delivered a strong message of unity and purpose, while shedding light on the importance of the ongoing World Cup raffle draw initiative.
Speaking at the event, the minister emphasized that the raffle is not just a fundraising activity, but a strategic move to support Ghana’s preparations for future global competitions, including the FIFA World Cup.
“This raffle is about more than raising money it is about giving every Ghanaian the opportunity to be part of our journey to the World Cup. Together, we can build a stronger foundation for our sports,” he stated
Kofi Adams further explained that proceeds from the raffle will go into developing infrastructure, supporting the national teams, and investing in grassroots football across the country.
“We must come together as government, private sector and fans because the success of Ghana sports is a shared responsibility,” he added.
The initiative has already generated excitement among fans and stakeholders, with many seeing it as a step in the right direction toward sustainable sports development.
