Sports minister tips Liberty to win the MTN FA Cup

Sports Minister, Hon. Nii Lante Vanderpuye has tipped Liberty Professionals to win this year's MTN FA Cup.

The Dansoman-based club whipped GN Bank Division One League Zone two leaders, Elmina Sharks 3-0 on Saturday to advance to the semis of the competition.

"For their [Liberty Professionals] stellar performance in the league and FA Cup, I tip them to win this year's MTN FA Cup," he told Asempa FM

The winner of the competition will get a prize money of Gh¢40,000 and Gh¢ 70,000 in addition to their participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Scientific Soccer Lads will battle out with Okwahu United in the next round.
