St. Peters High School 1975/77 Year Group presents hockey sticks

Nkwatia-Kwahu, (ER), May 24, GNA - Members of 1975/77 Year Group of Nkwanta-Kwahu Saint Peter's Senior High School at the week-end presented 26 hockey sticks valued at about GH¢4,000 to their alma mater. Mr Alex Kwame Osei, President of the group who made the presentation at Nkwanta-Kwahu said the donation of the sticks was in fulfilment of a pled ge they made to the School's management during a visit to the school recentl y. He said it is hoped that the hockey sticks would go a long in ensuri ng that the school maintains its supremacy in hockey at the Second Cycle institutions level to propel to achieve success at the regional and natio nal meets. Mr Osei advised the students to take keen interest in the sport sinc e it is not only for leisure but helps to build the discipline levels of it s participants.
