As a game that thrives best on standards, association football has distinguished itself from any other sports.

From player development to infrastructure, packaging to patronage, football has been made to be evolutionary at the very least.

In an exclusive interview with the communications director for Obuasi based Ashgold, Kofi Yawson, he commended the league organizers for their good work.

”I think the organizers have done well so far. Many people thought the cup of nations could have disrupted the league, but the league grew supreme in stature”, Yaw affirmed.

When asked on the standard of the league as compared to last year, he echoed on exponential growth in the league.” For me the standard of the league has improved marginally, just that Hearts and Kotoko are struggling.

“People make wrong judgment in relation to the Hearts and Kotoko case. They are not too bad, just that their opponents have improved”, the communication officer of the league leaders implied.

On his team’s destiny date in Dormaa over the weekend, Yaw was reluctant to promise followers of the Aboakese side before the match.

On the surprise package of the league so far, Yaw Kofi did not mince words in pronouncing Inter Allies as the league’s dark horses.” The surprise package in the league to me is Inter Allies. I like the way they play as a team”, Yaw concluded.
