Ghana’s Under-17 coach Paa Kwesi Fabian has named his final 21-man squad for this weekend’s African U-17 Championship in Morocco.
The Ghanaian trainer finalised his squad on Tuesday after their impressive 6-2 win over the youth side of Italian Seria B Novara in their final warm-up game.
The Black Starlets have shown enough desire to become champions again after struggling to conquer the continent in recent years.
The team has been paired alongside perennial rivals Nigeria, Ivory Coast and Congo.
The semi finalists will represent Africa at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates next October.
The 2013 African Under-17 Championship from April 13 to 27 in Morocco.
