Black Stars players will leave to their various clubs in Europe in on Wednesday night (tonight) to rejoin their teams in time for the resumption of the European leagues this weekend.
The players are returning to their clubs in great mood after illuminating their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers with an impressive 2-0 win over minnows Comoros in Kumasi on Tuesday.
Mubarak Wakaso who scored the opening goal for Avram Grant’s men with a well-rehearsed free-kick from 20 yards will rejoin Spanish side UD Las Palmas.
Ghana goalkeeper Razak Braimah who made some spectacular saves on Tuesday will also jet off to Spain to join Cordoba.
Aston Villa forward Jordan Ayew whose extraordinary finish cushioned the win for Ghana will join his brother Andre Ayew, Leicester City wing-back Jeffrey Schlupp and Chelsea defender Baba Rahman who will all fly back to the United Kingdom to link up with their clubs for the continuation of the Premier League.
Ghana and Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu will be joined by Torino’s Afriyie Acquah, who swapped places in the line-up for the second-leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, will arrive in Milan together before splitting up to their Serie A clubs.
