Communication Officer for Accra Hearts of Oak Kwame Opare Addo says the club is not considering slashing salaries of the players due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
There has been reports in the media that the Phobians might consider pay cuts to cushion the side against a possible financial crisis.
But Speaking to Light FM, Kwame Opare Addo insisted that salary cut has been discussed at the management level, and management will discuss with players should something like that pops up.
“We haven’t imposed any paycut on the players but if in the future we want to do such thing, we will sit down with the players professionally and discuss with them”
Opare Addo also talked about the club’s interest in Sulley Muntari.
“We have a good relationship with him, he trains with us when he returns from abroad, and offer advice to our players but as i speak we don’t have any contractual agreement with him.” He added
