Bank roller of second tier side King Faisal Alhaji Grusah has advised Black Stars players to forget about qualification to the Russia 2018 world Cup and focus on the 2017 Nations Cup which will be staged in Gabon.

According to Grusah, there is no way Ghana would be counted among the participating teams at the global show piece.

He argues Ghana would have only made it to Russia if the team had beaten the Cranes of Uganda in their first game in Tamale.

‘’We should forget about the world cup and concentrate on the Gabon 2017 AFCON.”Alhaji Grusah told Kumasi based Abusua FM.

‘’Why should we deceive ourselves that Congo and Uganda can go to Egypt and surprise them. It only fools who think Egypt will lose all the remaining four matches. It left with only six points for them to qualify. I will put ninety percent blame on the FA , the ministry and the media because when the two were misbehaving, it was the media that supported that’’.

He concluded ‘’I used to respect and support Avram Grant but now I don’t support him. Ghanaians lack the 3Ds that is determination, discipline and dedication’’.

The Astute football administrator further went on to say that Ghana will fail again to win the Nations Cup in Gabon if the playing body does not invite unity among themselves before and during the tourney.

Ghana will be hoping to win its fifth continental title after losing the previous edition to Ivory Coast to penalty shoot -out.
