Accra Hearts of Oak supporters have called for the removal of 'useless' board chairman Togbe Afede and his members over the shock sacking of coach Kim Grant after just one match of the season.
The fans of the Accra-based giants took to the social media accounts of the club to voice to strong disapproval of the leadership of the board after sacking the 20th coach of the trophyless ten-year reign of Togbe Afede.
They have launched a campaign with the hashtag #TogbeOut to help force out the unpopular leader of the board.
The supporters say with the leadership Togbe Afede, the rampant sacking of coaches has been the only constant thing while the board has been in charge when the club has not won any trophy.
Grant was the 20th coach coach sacked by the board in ten years even though the former African champions have not won any trohpy which has irked the supporters to take action.
Hearts sacked head coach Grant on Tuesday after losing their opening match of the new Ghana Premier League season.
The Phobians were beaten 1-0 by Berekum Chelsea in Accra and Sunday’s defeat followed the club’s failure to win the President Cup after losing 2-1 to Asante Kotoko.
Edward Nii Odoom takes over with immediate effect as the head coach. He will be on the sidelines in their second game against Medeama in Tarkwa.
The former Ghana international Grant was appointed in 2018, becoming the club’s third manager in that year.
He led them to the semi-finals of the NC Special Competition tier I.
Below are some of the comments made by the supporters on Hearts' own official accounts:

We should have learned from history. For the past ten years we either sack coaches at the beginning of the season or middle and it has caused us to be trophy-less. This is bad decision, we all saw Kim Grant during the NC special tournament and he was fantastic

So is it that our leaders can't think straight ...why do u find it difficult in making good decisions... Now that Kim is gone we expect Mr Moore to also do the honorable thing
— HAM (@Iamhamm3) December 31, 2019
It's always sad when a club board and it's chairman listen to Kotoko journalists and coaches who cannot give any proper analysis on games except to sit on air and greet people for Nokofio. I think #KimGrant was a proper manager not the we thank God type but abr) me bayie nti ????????
