Ghana forward Jordan Ayew was in an outstanding form for Swansea City as he scored in their 3-1 victory over Arsenal in the English Premier League at the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday.
Arsenal opened the scoring after the half-hour mark through Nacho Monreal but the Swans pulled level just two minutes later courtesy Sam Clucas.
Jordan Ayew put the Carlos Carvalhal's side in front just after the hour-mark and despite being under pressure for the majority of the game before Clucas reacted quickly to a loose ball and managed to poke it past goalkeeper Petr Cech and gave the Swans all three points in a famous victory.
The win lifts Swansea outside of the bottom three and there is a sense around the Liberty Stadium that Carvalhal is the man to keep them up.
Swansea fans were delighted with the team’s efforts and in particular, were impressed with the performance of Ayew on Twitter.
The Ghana international has been playing at the very best of his game in recent matches and has gone through a complete transformation under the management of Carvalhal.
