TT championship to come off on Sept 18

Accra, Sept. 10, GNA - The Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) would on Saturday, September 18 organise the long awaited JA Biney and Company Open Championship at the Accra Sports Stadium Hall.
The championship is part of the Association's developmental programme under which a special Under 15 tournament will be organised alongside.
A statement signed by Mr Emmanuel Oteng-Aboagye, Secretary General of the GTTA said the sponsors, JA Biney and Company has promised handsome cash prizes to all categories of players.
It asked all past and present players, fans and patrons to endeavour to grace the tournament that is likely to witness an uncompromising encounter between the former champion Nana Yaw Boateng and the current Champion Solomon Akonor as well as other up and coming players.
