Officials of the Ghana Table Tennis Association have confirmed that the upcoming Ping Pong league has been postponed.
The maiden edition of the league was expected to start this weekend, February 7 but will now commence next weekend.
According to officials, the postponement of the league is as a result of failure by the clubs to register their teams on time.
Twelve (12) clubs made up of ten players each were expected to conclude their registration before the Thursday, February 5, 2015.
But, out of the twelve teams, information gathered by Sportscrusader.com has it that only seven have registered, hence the postponement.
“Some of the clubs failed to register and it means the league cannot come on this weekend we are anticipating that it will come off on February14,” General Secretary of the Ghana Table Tennis Association Patrick Ahindoho said
