poised to challenge for a gold medal at the upcoming Grand Prix in

Kazakhstan later this year.

The Grand Prix is attended by the best 32 athletes ranked in the

Ahead of the upcoming two-day championship which begins on August

29-30, Adjetey noted that, it’s going to be difficult to meet his

target but believes with all his experience and current training

regiments he is undergoing with his coach, Master Augustine Torkornoo,

he will achieve his aim.

Speaking to the this reporter from his Utah base in the USA, Adjetey

who holds 36 international medals in his career said “I know it will

be difficult to meet my target of winning gold but with my

preparations so far, I believe I will achieve it and Ghana will be

well represented"

“With athletes from countries such as Iran, Gabon, France and Korea

all competing, it will be very competitive,” Adjetey added.

“I thank my sports physiologist, Dr Vince Miner of Utah Valley

University and Utah Valley physical therapy for their immense

support,” he acknowledged.
