Saudi-Arabia based striker, Prince Tagoe, has replaced Mathew Amoah in the Black Stars provisional 23-man squad ahead of Sunday 2010 joint Nations Cup/World Cup qualifier against Libya.

The Al-Ettifaq goal poacher makes a return after an appearance in the senior national team at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Tagoe was top scorer for his side with 19 goals in the just ended season and qualified his team for the Arab Champions League.

The 22-year-old guided Ettifaq to lift the Prince Cup and was rewarded with US$ 30,000 prize money for scoring the most beautiful goal in the competition.

Amoah is reported to be down with an illness and has been excused from the squad.

The team left Accra for Kumasi on Tuesday afternoon and will hold their training later in the day.
