Techiman City star discharged after 8 stitches on head injury

Techiman City FC midfielder Iddrisu Mohammed who sustained a scary injury in Sunday league opener against Berekum Chelsea has had his condition stabilized.

The 18-year-old came out worse after a clash of heads with Berekum Chelsea Asiwome Fumador in Techiman.

The absence of a health post or ambulance at the stadium meant the unconscious player had to spend a lot of time on the stretcher.

He was later rushed to the hospital and received eight stitches on the head.

His injury overshadowed Techiman City FC’s 1-0 win over Berekum Chelsea on their debut.
