Assistant Coach of the Pharaohs of Egypt, Osama Nabih, has expressed his view about the current squad of the senior national team of Ghana of which he has deemed to be more stronger than 2013 when the two sides met in the final elimination round for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

Egypt have drawn in the same group as Ghana in Africa’s final round of qualifiers for the 2018 FIFA World Cup as well Congo and Uganda.

In a televised statement Nabih said, “Ghana are no longer the same team that faced Egypt in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers, they have developed and became stronger, thanks to their foreign-based players.”

“Congo also have many players who play in European leagues like Germany and France. They are a strong team and we’re preparing well to face them.”

“Uganda will not be easy as well. We respect all teams in the group. This isn’t an easy group and respecting all its teams will help us reach the world cup,” he added.`

The 2018 World Cup qualification campaign will kick start in October with two successive matches.
