The Stars Have Landed!

The national team of Ghana, the Black Stars, arrived in Egypt las night, six days before their opening match against Nigeria in the 2006 African Nations Cup.

The Black Stars have spent the last three weeks training in Tunisia.

They lost two tuneup matches, falling 1-0 to fellow World Cup qualifiers Togo before getting blanked 2-0 by defending African Nation's Cup champions Tunisia.

After Nigeria, Ghana will also face Senegal and Zimbabwe in Group D action.
