Good: Kwadwo Asamoah - After his midweek blunder against PSV cost Inter a place in the next round of the Champions League, Asamoah came into Saturday's Serie A clash with former side Udinese with a clear intention to make amends. The left-back did succeed as he was among the Nerazzurri's liveliest players on the day in what ended in a 1-0 win.

Bad: Baba Rahman - The Chelsea loanee played his first game since September in midweek in the Champions League. It was thought to be the beginning of his renaissance, having for the most part had to watch his German club Schalke 04 from the bench or stands this season. On Saturday, he was disappointingly back among the fans as the Royal Blues and Augsburg settled for a 1-1 draw in Bundesliga.

Good: Kasim Adams - The summer signing from Swiss side Young Boys put up a decent performance for Hoffenheim against Manchester City in midweek. On Saturday, he maintained his place in Die Kraichgauer's starting XI, displaying another solid performance as they kept a clean sheet (0-0 draw) in Bundesliga.

Too Good: Asamoah Gyan - On his sixth league appearance of the season, the Ghana captain netted the all-important goal as Kayserispor pipped Akhisarspor 1-0 in Turkey on Sunday. Significantly, the goal was his first of the Super Lig this season, having drawn blank until the matchday16 fixture at Kadir Has Sehir Stadium. He would hope to be rewarded with a first league start of the campaign when the Anatolian Star play away to BB Erzurumspor on Sunday.

Good: Alfred Duncan - The midfielder looked to have made it two two goals in successive games in the Italian Serie A on Sunday until the strike was ultimately credited to Lorenz Ariaudo as an own goal. He again had a hand in Sassuolo's second goal of the 2-0 away win over Frosinone as he provided the assist for Domenic Berardi's finish. A week earlier, the Ghanaian netted in a 3-3 draw with Fiorentina.

Too Good: Richmond Boakye - On his first start in two months, fit-again striker Boakye scored to help Red Star Belgrade to a 2-1 away victory over Cukaricki in the Serbian topflight on Sunday. The goal was the 25-year-old's sixth league strike of the season, the match his seventh and the starting berth his third since rejoining The Red-Whites from Chinese side Jiangsu Suning in August.

Good: Emmanuel Boateng - Having netted a hat-trick against Barcelona last season, the Levante striker was pretty pumped up for Sunday's La Liga clash against the Blaugrana. It wasn't to be for The Frogs this time around as Barca registered a 5-0 win. Boateng may not have scored this time, but he was arguably Levante's most dangerous man on the day, forcing a save from goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen early in the game before striking a shot against the crossbar moments later.

Bad: Raphael Dwamena - While Boateng tried to prove that last season's heroic was no fluke, compatriot and club mate Dwamena was completely missing from Levante's matchday squad. It marked a continuation of frustration for the summer signing from Swiss side FC Zurich, who has made just three appearances - all substitute outings - in La Liga so far for his new club.
