The President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana, Kwabena Yeboah has hinted that the disjointed front of the Youth and Sports Ministry and the GFA will be the biggest problem for the second coming of Kwesi Appiah.

The veteran sports writer is convinced that things will not go well for Kwesi Appiah if the numerous impasse within the top hierarchy of the Ministry as well as the GFA are not resolved.

“Black Stars is the biggest brand and if we are not careful the troubles within the ministry and the FA will affect the Team and the whole technical staff especially Kwesi Appiah because things will not go smooth for him,” Yeboah indicated.

“The GNPC money which cushion the Black Stars has now been diverted to the Youth and Sports Ministry and for the past three months the coach and his technical staff have not been paid,”

He added: “Other things such as accommodation and vehicle have not been provided for the coach which is not good and will go a long way to affect his work. All these problems can be solved if the FA and ministry have a united front”

Appiah replaced Avram Grant as Black Stars coach in April this year and has not enjoyed many of the benefits the Israeli had.
