Managing Editor for Kotoko Express, Jerome Otchere, has played down claims that the league is over for the Porcupines Warriors after series of poor results.
Otchere believes the Red Devils will bounce back from their slump and proceed to win the league.
He indicated that per the standings on the league table, there is a clear chance the former league champions will turn things around if they should get back to winning ways.
Kotoko has won only one match in the second round of the league and yet to record a win in their last five matches in the league.
“Few things have been done to get us back on track, and we hope that when we play Dreams FC on Sunday, we will be able to come back to form and see how things churn out,” Otchere told Ultimate FM Sports.
“If you look at the number of points that teams on the table have, it gives me the impression that this competition is clearly not over.”
Asante Kotoko is currently 5th on the league table with 33 points.
They will play host to Dreams FC on matchday 23 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
